Volvo, the Swedish brand was started in the year 1927 by Assar Gabrielsson and Gustaf Larsson. The company introduced Volvo its first car named Jakob. Volvo cars are famous for its safety options and performance. In 1927, PV651 was launched by the brand. By the year 1931, Volvo manufactured more than 10,000 vehicles. Volvo released PV444 after the war which got a grand success. The company started exporting cars to the US by 1950.
